Transfer Case

So i got around to finally got around to working on my truck and well i found a bit of a surprise when i went to check me transfer case oil level...
it had about 1/4 quart of the scummiest ATF fluid ive ever seen in it and thats all that was in it. Its BW1356 Manual Shift. It shifts great however i bet there is atleast 5000 miles on it with that much oil in it. My tranny is nice bright red ATF so i know the seal is good in the tranny.
But who here thinks its going to be ok to just fill it and call it good, or do you think the planetary's are gone in it.

oh i should note that 99% of those miles were in 2 wheel drive, so im not sure if all of the planatary is still spinning.
Ill see what it does when i take it out this weekend
