Hey I wanted to apologize for going off on you guys yesterday. I knew ya all was just screwing around, I was just having an extremely bad day and it just kept getting worse and worse.

I usually have thicker skin, it just caught me the wrong way, on a bad day.

Anway.......... hug hug.. pat.. pat, all that crap and again I am sorry.

Cracker.

Oh by the way Shane, I am not lazy, I am just so sick and tired of working on this thing, I just want it out of my life. I bought a lemon, and its non-stop repairs, this could push me into buying a jeep. So........... :fawkdancesmiley:

We all have those days, I know you are not normally an angry person.

Just FYI... I re-did my add and had 3 calls on my rig, went out to go meet a guy and the started is now messed up.... Atleast that is what I am guessing.

Turn the key, nothing but a metal to metal grinding noise. So I pulled the starter, cleaned the oil and grease off it, than took it so schmucks, its barely putting out half the volts as it should and it sounds like there is sand in the bearings, but it still passed. I don't know whether to throw it back in and try it out, or wait a few days till I have the money to buy a new one. Its my daily driver, but my job is really flexible.

Any ideas? I am wondering if it is something internally grinding on the starter, there was no wear or scarring on the teeth of the starter.

Pop contacts out and clean them up, might be enough to get it working again.
