So any of you that have met me in person knows I'm a fat ass. I turned 39 in June and decided I want to be alot lighter when 40 comes. I heard about 30/10 Weight Loss for life from somebody at work and saw them after they lost weight. I did some research and found I can get a Dr's note and use my flex spending account at work to pay for it. It's costs roughly $1000 per month. But anyone that has struggled with their weight and weight loss knows that $$ is worth it if they can do something that works.
I signed up 6 weeks ago and have been following it religiously. It's a high protein low/zero carb plan. I'm down 30 pounds already and dropping pretty good weekly. I feel 20 years younger and am way more active now.
My favorite thing so far is it is forcing me to change my eating habits. Portion control, kinds of foods, what times to eat are all in check and I'm quite used to it.
Just wanted to share my experience and spread the word. The more people I tell, the more likely I am to keep going when I'm tempted to cheat (which isn't often surprisingly).
