Which water pump for 1990 V6 4runner? Hose or no hose?

Trying to figure out which water pump to get. Apparently there are two kinds...one with a small steel hose coming out one end and a version without the small steel hose.
Can't figure out which one I have on my truck (if you've ever looked under the hood of a v-6 runner you'd understand why). Any pointers on figuring out which one I need?

I'd say with hose. Every 4runner/pickup done water pump/timing belt on has had one but you never know it could be different. Just pop the front skid off underneath and look for the second hose near the T-stat housing.

The '88 truck I worked on did not have that hose, but I would go with BlackCJ's suggestion and take the skid off and look up there. The t-stat is easily replaceable with the skid off, so you should at least be able to get your hand up there to feel whether you have that hose or not.

Buy both, then take the one back you dont need. :)

EDIT: Saw they were Ebay links... Makes my idea a little hard.

Thanks for the tips. Got it figured out once I knew exactly where to look for that extra hose. Looks like I'm getting the one with the hose outlet.
l8er.
The reason for the ebay thing is that is $287 locally for the kit:wtf: . Ebay was $135.:clappy:
