I'm using a Ford Mustang hydro boost. I want to know if there is any way to use the abs plug on the side to control the brake lights?
It is just a pressure switch so yes it will just have to ohm it out and see if it's NO or NCskipnrocks said:I'm using a Ford Mustang hydro boost. I want to know if there is any way to use the abs plug on the side to control the brake lights?

Maybe if he wants his lights to come on only when he runs low on fluidpatooyee said:No clue about mustangs but if its in the reservoir its just a level sensor, no good for brake lights.
There should be one on the resi and one on the end of the mc which is a pressure switch.skipnrocks said:It's actually on the side of the resivoir. I got to looking at it and thought maybe it's just a fluid level sensor

Yes I know there is one there but they ford uses two so there is a backup to turn off the cruise control in the event of one failing. The second is usually an actual pressure switch on the master cylinder or somewhere else in the system.Jpyke15 said:The one on my stang is under the dash between firewall and pedal .......
