Started on this one for Micheal yesterday. Hopefully the rest of it will go smoothy like this first part did.

Looking good I ordered them seat lowering bases I was telling you about
I rolled the bar we had talked about to give you more room for the new seats.

Like the design, certainly fits the SE rockbouncer look.

How are you notching?
I notice most are in the bend, and thats a tough notch to do unless its chop-saw style. And I noticed some decently large gaps, so I'm guessing yes chopsaw style.
If a notcher what kind to get so many notches in the curve.

These are some pretty big gaps IMO.

The first one does have a gap but it got knocked ouf place putting the.center tube in. Fixed it this morning actually before it gets welded up.
The second one was also screwed up as well, from where i had to redo the door bars so his new seats would fit. Had to make them wider to fit the seats. Those tubes were redone as well once he was happy with the wider door bars.

cool, what are you using to notch though, just wondering how you are getting the cuts on the bend. I'm assuming chopsaw method or portaband. Is that correct?

Grinder with a 6" cut off wheel.
Until I can hopefully get the one I want from Baileigh

I really like my Notchmaster has saved me tons of time and re-bends, but have to revert to the port-a-band and grinder for those in the bend copes.

The notch master is great as well as the jmr notcher. Have both at the shop and usually use them simultaneously.

He is going to have it powder coated. He is going with red to match the colors in his panels.
