Yakima Ridgerunners Event

Had a friend of mine tell me the Ridgerunners are hosting some kind of race/compitition this Sat over in Tampico, anyone else hear about this?

So what is a "3-ball" event? The flyer is there, and the basic rules, but the rest of the discusion seems to be geared toward people that already know.

Sounds like a driving-skill event? Passenger put some balls on the post on one side of the course, then you run the cource the other way and the driver picks up the balls? What are the courses typicaly like?

Basically it's an obstacle course, you drive around and the passenger places 3 tennis balls on tees spread through the course. When you get to the end of the course you turn around and go back through with the driver retrieving the balls. Fastest time wins. It's a lot of fun but don't expect a technical, challenging course.

Here's some pictures from past local 3ball events. I don't know what the ridgerunners course is like but I would expect it to be milder but longer than the one in these pics.

Sounds kind of fun though. Maybe if they did one later in the year..... Kind of sounds like your club is pretty active Ben, especially in the event category....
