Ok.. the wait is over... sorta..
Met up with some fiends at Morris Moutain ORV here in 'Bama..
Let me start by saying that this place is awesome.
Left the house fri 8pm and got there bout midnight due to breaking the trailer Doh!!

Trailer's been widened to fit a Chevy II and well... it broke.

Well, heres some pics
Only got to run a few trails due to minor problem with the rig.. t-stat was stuck closed and temps hit 240+ Seems a freeze plug went when we had that cold spell last week..
Oh well, enjoy... more pics in trail ride forum

Some updates...
After beating on my 60s for 5yrs.. finally broke a Yukon 4340 35 spline shaft. As you can see, the spicer joint is a-ok, the grease in the caps is, well.. still there :cheer:

Oh well, got the new one in and ready to play :redneck:

Update on the twinstick/linkage setup..
It worked, but not well. It was a beotch to get in and outta gear, so i made cable shifters.

Moved the tranny shifter forward and put the tcase shifters more centered.. needed room for cupholders and more bling aluminum

Now the tcase shifts like it should. The rear output slides in like butta, the front is getting better, still need to unbind driveline to shift it at times..

When will the madness stop??
Went wheeling Cinco De Mayo.... and well got a little close to a rock..

So got home and started removing dents and one thing led to another...Ended up cutting 6.5" off each side. Now to finish the rear tube work.

Still have to do little bodywork and paint...

Well, i did some swapping of parts i had laying around and ... tada!
P1010040Small.jpg

I wanted to retain the sliders, and make it somewhat easy to tilt forward if need be. Working on a latch system to allow the tilt and still lock them securely.

Now that the dove tail is done, time for more tube..

Ok, so now i need ya'lls help. Ive got some ideas floating around.. lets see them suggestions.

Doing this meant relocating the hydro cylinder (which was a huge PITA!!!). Noticed the original cylinder was a tad bent
I'll have more pix up later.
