Only problem with that style is it won't fit a 4x6..
Cold weather ballasts and T-8 bulbs I hope?
look at the chart :awesomework:
All t12 stuff..
T12 is no longer supported from what I understand.
From what I've heard is they are just no longer the industry standard. The bulbs will still be available, but will be much more expensive than they were, which I've already noticed.
I would be tempted to see if you can get a reclaimed glue-lam beam for cheap to replace those cracked joists...
With the proper beam, it would be able to make the span providing the support you need...
much stronger than just dimensional lumber...
Just a thought though...
I had thought of something like that but I wanna split that area in half and running supports to the ground will do double duty..
cool property Mike, congrats. that barn def would have sold me on it :awesomework:
good stuff Mike. Keep it coming:cheer::cheer::cheer::cheer::cheer:
So like I say I am no carpenter but I am trying and learning as I go and I think I am doing a decent job of it. Took me a while how to figure out how to get all the beams in line since its going to double as a fence so to speak I wanted it at least straight. So I used these things that have chalk in them that you pull tight and snap to give a straight line as plumb bobs(I think thats the right term) and then used string to create my line for the beams.
