Put some studs in my rear 14 bolt hubs. Here is the tech thread this method was pulled from.

I have not rode since the first of March. Got home washed the buggy parked it in the shop and noticed it had a fuel leak. The cell had a small crack. Got that fixed and had it re powdered silver. Hopefully it wont absorb as much heat as it did when it was black.

Well my transmission took a **** after clanking in second gear since I built it. Got Ed @ PTC to rebuild and upgrade it. Rebuilt my torque converter. While I have it torn do I have replaced the derale cooler with a new CBR dual pass transmission cooler from PCR and new Fragola lines and fittings. Also changed ujoints and carrier bearings. Going to build a heat shield for the steering cooler lines.

We I also had the buggy rewired while it was down the guy knocked it out of the park got ride of all plastic loom, cleaned it up, braided loom and heat shrink.

I like this idea! Check out Kevin Porterfield (4426), Brian McVay (270), and Phillip McGilton (47). They all run WOD chassis in the 4400 class, but it would give you an idea of all the safety changes that would need to be made to yours in order to pass tech etc.

Ha I figured that may be the actual case. Just slap some DOT 37's on there and go run the race course at AOP. Could compare your times to the lap times from last weekend to see how your buggy would stack up to the other 4800's.

Next time I'm at AOP I want to run the race course just to see what our actual time would be while crawling vs the racers.
