never tried going up so thats a damn good question, guess i will try this weekend then and get back to ya on that one

After traversing, or maybe I should rephrase that to 'oh **** navigating' down that, I have ZERO desire to go up it, and that was in dry conditions, I have less desire to see it in 'wet/inclement' conditions. fawk that - you kids have fun with that.

On the other hand, crash could make the big bucks by posting a sign there for folks that can't make it up and need to be rescued.

Going down is a got brakes issue( Not breaks ). Going up you have to go a bit right to avoid the step up on the big rock. Its eroding the hillside and has uncovered a rock that sticks about 6-8 inches out...Sounds pleasant when you smack it with your rim.

Do you still have your CJ mark?

No, I don't. But your point being "would you do it in a stock-ish vehicle", correct? Down - yes, Up - maybe.

I will try it in the Grand Cherokee (front locker only) and update the poll if/when I do/don't make it.

Increase traffic up--will only make it worse--I am guessing there are alot more big rocks in that loose dirt.

My point exactly.

Question lies--can you get up it without digging bigger holes and hence causing it to be even harder.

If this is poopshute, then yes-I've been down, but not up....

I see alot of yes votes so who has made it up this year? anyone can make it down, whether or not on tires or on lid is the question. I wanted to try it last time I was at reiter but had just broken a leafspring on the stairstep or whatever you call it.:redneck: and the guy I was with had a broken brakeline.:eeek: Now I cant until I finish the wheeler.

I just saw the pics and it looks nicely rounded since I was there a couple years ago.
