I have a guy that has a 1960 FJ25 I can get. I dont know much here. Are they as cool or cooler than a normal FJ40.

I understand the running gear is going to be old junk, but all that is getting junked anyways.

I am only interested in the frame and body.

Here it is. Check out the grill and air intake.

GET IT, an if ya dont mind me asking how much a givin for it...

Cooler. :awesomework:

1961 was the start of the FJ40, so those numbers may be misleading. I can't remember what I've seen for actual numbers, but I'll look around later.

http://forum.ih8mud.com/fj25-owners-group/

I wen tot the link and found a thread titled, "count the fj25s".
It was all memebers that have an actual sighting and pictures of all the 20 series so they can count them and try to figure out how many are left.
It was at 100 fjs and the one I posted here has already been spotted and put on the list!!!:cheer:

I think this is one of those times where you say "screw it" and get it whether you need it or not. Way cooler than a FJ40, and far too rare to pass up!:awesomework:

The funny thing is they're really not worth a lot to anybody that isn't obsessed with restoring them. Some of the parts are worth some money because they're hard to find and a few people are always looking for original parts in good shape, but there isn't a huge following except among Cruiser purists.

The old "Thunderbird" hood ornament is pimp though.

How many folks are looking for an old dodge M37?

I think the cruiser market is better than the military vehicle market.

Judging from the pics that thing's in amazingly straight rust-free condition. Is it as good as it looks?

He claims its rust free. After talking to him I kinda figured out he really hates rust and is honest. He was really concerned about the M37 being rust free, which it is.

It sounds like a win win deal. His truck is an the same condition as mine.

With a little brake work it will drive just fine he says. He tore the brakes apart and lost intererest. Its been stored inside an airplane hanger till now.

Im hopin to complete the trade this weekend.:awesomework:

Nice find :awesomework: fix the mechanicals, add nice paint, and some bling rims/tires. done
