• Help Support Hardline Crawlers :

The new "Crashfab"

There are ALOT of reels out there that are easily twice the $, and they are literally the same thing, just rebadged...I use mine almost daily, and so far so good. My neighbor has had one hung in his shop for a few yrs now---and other than the hose, has had no issue either.

Cool beans--so plan on replacing the hose with a good quality rubber one :awesomework:

Am thinking 2 50 footers for the front of the shop and one 25' for in the center front for outside use when the doors open.

I use the one that's hanging from the hoist for outside duties...I just reel it out the walk-in door to check/fill tires in the driveway as needed! :redneck:
If you're gonna hang one for using outside the bay door, I'd just do a 50 footer at the door end, and a 50 footer off the back wall in the shop, and maybe have an extension hanging nearby IF you need one...chances are you won't but...

So after some thought kev ya I will only get 2--they should reach out of the shop and I can always make an extension to pop onto the hose if I need it longer. This will save me having to have to run more hard line over to between the doors.

I always told myself if I was going to do it again I was going to do it right. I figured after all these years I owed to myself to do so. I am hoping the end result is something cool..

I agree. I had the same attitude when I built my current jeep. Build it once, build it right. So are you going to get a lift for this shop???

had mine for 10 years.works good still, just doesnt retract the last foot any more.it would probably help to replace the stiff ass hose it comes with but it hasnt started leaking yet.ive beat the **** out of it over the years

Some goodies showed up :awesomework:

Since the doors are ordered and once the front of the shop is done its going to be pretty dark in there so its time to start on the lighting. Got the front half of one stall done.

So I am planning my air system and thinking about doing it in 3/4" vs 1/2" that my old setup was at the old shop. I figured 3/4" could help with volume to the hose.

With how the shop/shed is setup compared to the old shop I will be well under 1/2 the length of tubing from the compressor to the hose's..

I started working on lighting for the second stall..
