Making good progress Mike, question tho. Are you going the full buggy look or you putting a narrowed body on it. Sorry if I am asking a question if you already covered it in a past post.

Full tube. I had thought about a cab but then I would have to exo it and I HATE exo's,lol

Get a propane heater in there :FIREdevil:

Agreed. I got a used hanging heater. Put a LP convert on it and will never work in the cold again.

I have one of those big buddy's but yes a hanging heater is in the to do list I just gotta make sure I got enough funds to finish this thing,

I been eyeballing one of those big mr heater units they have at lowes.

Good to see you send those Previously used Toyota parts to the scrap heap where they belong , now you just need to get rid of the Papa Smurf blue. :fawkdancesmiley:

I still have enough to build a couple more toys :flipoff: And the blue--its going to get even MORE blingy :D

So again collecting parts and thinking things over and I came to the conclusion I really want to go with front/rear winch's. Not only for the suck down side but the fact of the one trail use. Clark came up with a great setup taking a m8000 and 9.0rc and swapping drums which give the front winch width of 21" which is well within the width I need and also give me the length of rope I will need.

So scored a m8000 winch already and looking into getting the 9.0rc.

So I came to the conclusion of trying to get the motor/tranny into the chassis on the table was just to dangerous and once and tube went around them I would not be able to get them back out.

So I decided to go ahead and get the chassis on the ground and get the bulk of the work done to the axle housings.

I got the rear axle link brackets all done. The only things left on the housing are shock mounts, center winch down point and I am thinking of redoing the caliper mounts to roll the calipers down to one side.

Next dove into the front axle and got the link brackets all done. I also went ahead and tied the bridge into the axle tubes.

So only thing left on the housing is shock mounts and the steering ram mount.

Got the axles down under the chassis and next its time to shove the motor and trans into it and go from there.
