DD suggestions

Re:

I think he had decided to just get another crv. His other one fits every criteria and is perfect for him so why chase his tail with something else.

If he wants the awd, a Subaru is hard to beat all around.

My DD is a 10' Subaru Legacy. 4 door, symmetrical all wheel drive, 6 speed auto with paddle shifters. I average 30mpg in town and 33-35 on highway/interstate. While I'm far from a hippie democrat, I cancel out the connotation of a Subaru with my TSC and Busted Knuckly hats in the back glass.

I thought about this some more and now i'm pretty sure i think he needs a old mercedes diesel converted to burn grease

Re:

Yes. He just decided that the crv is perfect for him and the family and anything else is less than perfect.

Try not to be too jealous of my new whip bitches!!!

I am going tomorrow to pick up a new to me 2005 Honda CR-V with 110K on it in near perfect condition. I haven't sold my Tahoe yet but I plan to only come out of pocket about $1K on so to trade from a 2004 2wd Tahoe with 153K on it to this CR-V. Better mileage, Honda quality versus Chevy, safer, AWD is kind cool, and will fit better in my smaller garage. I should make that back in under a year in gas.

I agree with the bike comments. If I lived in a town that was safe to bike in I would absolutely ride a bike. That is one part of why I would love to move to Ft. Collins CO (the other being the hunting/outdoor **** that surrounds Colorado and the American West).

I couldn't bring myself to go for a car although I agree that would be more frugal.

(No Obama stickers for me, I voted for Ron Paul and Gary Johnson.)

(BTW I don't buy paper towels but if anyone wants to bring them into my house and give them to me for free they are more than welcome.)
