What is that thing?
That my friend, is a 1960 Studebaker Lark VIII sedan. Single barrel 259 V8, pushing 180 horsepower and a 3 speed in the floor with OD in second and third. It has no balls, but sounds good and rides real well too. It's basically worthless being a 4 door, but having kids, I love having the extra doors. Just needs some A/C, the rubber replaced around the front windshield and the windows tinted.

I beat around in my ole 97 Tahoe hail damage and all. I gotta hand it to my ole man who will dd a 33 chevy coupe. He once drove his 39 Buick coupe to sturgis with bike in tow just so he could say he did it. The ole man ain't skeered to take a road trip in about anything. He loves road trips ask Lori about the time her and Patrick and dad went to Missouri to buy their bike.

Yes we did, Patrick joked it cost us more to feed "Blake's ole man" than it cost us in fuel for the trip. Lol

This is my fleet. DD the Nissan mostly, the F250 when I feel like dropping a $50 in 3 days at 5.6 mpg. The 150 got DD'd for a few years, needs the motor put in, it's been on the engine stand for 2 years now. DD'd the Explorer a few times, once for 2 weeks straight. Death wobble got pretty bad, so I quit driving it.

I gotta say though, my '77 F250 was my favorite DD of all time. I wish I could find it and buy it back.

I drive the Pontiac every day for work but after hours it's usually the ford or Pontiac. Burb comes out when it's nice and tundra when I gotta pull something

Nope tundra drives to damn good. Burb has a Detroit in it and 37s. Darn things is actually locked front and rear hydro assist and all that mess. It may one day get a ls but my buddy has one kinda similar he is putting a Cummins in. I don't wanna deal with the noise Cummins in my burb lol.

I dig it man :dblthumb:

I've been DD my '05 F350 towrig for about 10 years, but this year i'm taking my kids to their 2 schools practically every morning, its about an hour of driving roundtrip, costing me about $7 in diesel daily. So i think i found the exact polar opposite vehicle for this new duty- '09 Mini Cooper S, turbo 6-speed w/paddle shifters. This thing is fun as hell, i've never driven a car that hangs curves like it does. And yes, i do realize that i own two of the most unreliable vehicles known to man- what can i say, i guess i just like working on **** ;D
