This is my last post on this subject but if anyone wants to see what kind of work we really do then feel free to contact me or big_dodge for directions and u can stop by. We started a cage for a Toyota last week for a guy (who saw the ftoy). Were finishing it tomorrow then have a v8 truggy to do then a 4 runner v6 swap, straight axle swap, and bumpers.

Let's hear from these guys that your doin work
For. An if they are still paying you after seeing the ftoy.
Ther the ones need helmets when goin #2. :gtfo:

Damn, that sucks man! I don't like to see anybody get screwed.

For some reason I suddenly feel about 1000x better about my hack build thread.

Please someone take him up on this offer and take lots of pics

Buggy68 shouldnt be building his own stuff, and for sure shouldnt be doing it for a living! Everybody is a fabricator/ welder these days, and a lot of people are in the own little world. Its not just his shitty skills, its also his poor decision of acceptance. FAIL!! :****:

I guess I will jump in here.

I met big dodge a couple years ago, and kept in touch with him. Don't really know him too personally, but seems like a good stand up dude.

My ranger is in pretty rough shape, and needs a lot of work to get finished, which includes building a skid plate, mounting the doubler, building new radius arms, redoing the steering to incorporate hydro assist, building drivelines, motor mounts, and getting the truck running.

I told him I am very picky and anal about my truck, which is why I gave up on doing myself, and wanted to take it to a shop.

I seen the work they had done on the Ftoy, and he assured me the booger welds were not theirs. The skins were not on it when i got there, but the tabs were installed. Wasn't too fond of how the tabs were mounted, but he said they still had finish welding to do.

My ranger is there currently, and once it is done, I will post up the pics. If Big Dodge and Buggy68 do good work, you guys will see it. If not, you guys will see that too. This could be the perfect opportunity for the gents to pull their name out of the mud, or the perfect opportunity to give up on the project, and refund the money I have already given them to start.

Like I said, the guys seem nice, the buggies that were in the shop were not really hacked, so if they do great work, I want to help them advertise it.

I sure hope they break out the golden welder skilz!

I will not post pm's I have gotten since it's not my place. But I'm not ths only one.

But I'm sure they are reading every comment everyday and will try their damn best to attempt to look good when the dust settles

But the facts don't lie

1- I own a 110v flux welder
( pics of new welding isn't flux weld)
2- he said all his welds were unpainted ( I got screen shots of text with him say'n " I painted some welds"

These are only 2 lies that I. Pointed out

I hope he does you right! But I would take my business elsewhere ...

I'm sure they are keeping tabs on this thread, and I am sure they would have preferred me to not see it, but I just want them to do the truck right, just as Big Dodge said they would. And as promised, if they do, I will show off their work

I put my golden ticket on they do you right!
I put a $100 bill that theygo the extra mile on yours just to try to pull his self out of the sink hole he created
They almost have too, if they don't ...well you get the idea.

Actually I take the "they" back

Big dodge isant claiming **** !
So technically Brice threw his " helper" under the bus and didn't want stand behind the work I paid him for.

This is some of the fab work on a Samurai I bought sight unseen. So I know what it feels like to get a rig with a bunch of shitty "fabwork" done to it.

Just got off the phone with big dodge. They are keeping the truck to finish the work, and are aware of my expectations.

I am creating a thread that will focus on everything they do to the truck, and their progress pics will be posted. When i go to pick it up, I will take pics of everything as well. They also said if I am unimpressed with any of their work, tell them, and they will fix it. When I start the thread, I'll post the link here (for anyone who cares).

damn.. there are some terms that I can not repeat that properly describe that style of craftsmanship. I assume you bought that buggy sight unseen so hopefully the seller can't sleep well at night knowing he screwed you over. I unfortunately have been through a similar situation. I purchased a 79 power wagon off a guy via ebay. I lived in CT at the time and the truck was out of PA.. He said the truck could be driven home. I bought the truck, drove 6 hours one way to get it.. there was a note on the truck. "keys are in the igniition, good luck". It started.. barely went straight.. got it a mile down the road to a gas station. When I was putting gas in it we noticed gas was POURING out.. it had a golf ball size hole in the tank... drove it another 1/2 mile and it stalled.. pushed it into a church parking lot, waited 4 hours for a flatbed, paid $500 for it to be towed BACK to CT then after tearing it down realized NOTHING about it was worth keeping.. it got scrapped. $2500 of nothing.

I figured the money I paid was worth it I have a professional fabricator getting ready to rework the suspension and cage.

It had:
1.3 EFI
Yota axles
5:1 t-case gears
Dodge neon seats
I got (6) 34x9.50 Super Swampers with it

I figured with those parts combined with a complete running/driving vehicle it was a fair price.

said I wasn't posting on here anymore but metal head I think u have me confused with someone else. Im not in Illinois im in east Tennessee and have always been here and also I have never owned any 34 ltbs and I have never delivered a Sammy to Missouri. I have owned several sammys but don't think I have ever owned that one. :****:

You are correct sir! LOL yeah that wasn't you, you had that other Samurai I was looking at for sale awhile back. I remember now I think the guy's name was Nathan. I was just looking through your FB pictures and was coming to the same conclusion that it was not you I got this from.

My apologies for the confusion. thumb.gif

I've got two rigs off buggy68 in the last two years, neither had any welds that looked like that. And both rigs were exactly what he said they were. :****:

We'll guess my wife's boyfriend came over while I was outa town and ****'d two things up that I love.
