Surplus Center

A Psc one would be fine just not the 3" one that comes in the kit, it's just to big and makes the steering slow.

Which one is everyone using and which clevis ends

I seen your post in the Harlan ride. All I have for pics are some on another site. Gaorc.com build threads woodshed special. I hope this helps ya

I very much enjoy taking mine out of 4wd and allowing the front end to open up with the Ouverson locker. If I don't actually NEED 4wd chances are high that I am in 2wd.

Do you only have the Ouverson locker in the front? The last time I ran Rocks I had a 8" ram on the front with 127" wheelbase and 46" claws. I got tired of making three and four point turns but loved the abuse they would handle.

Re:

Scrub & wheelbase tends to lend to alot of steering issues with Rockwell rigs.

As mentioned, front dig only while driving around gives best drivability

I am spooled in the rear with 2" shafts and Ouverson 16-spline shafts in the front. I have a 10" cylinder on the stock steering arms BEHIND the axle (correct akerman) and use almost the entire stroke. 120" wheelbase. There was a noticeable improvement in turning radius from when I had opposite akerman / knuckles pointing forwards on the front to when I switched the steering to behind the axle.

Yes it will make a difference, I have a locker in front of both of my rigs. Actually front and rear and don't regret it.. Ouverson's is the one to have and not a detroit..
The welded the carriers, will work, but generally make the steering characteristics even worse as it pushes.. Having rear steering makes welded carriers more tolerable....but yeah isn't sharp turning over rated molaugh
