Alternatives to yeti cooler

I had a post about the roadie a while back, mine is very nice size and build but it doesn't keep ice for ****. You can joke about those starfoam coolers but nothing can compare to those, the only draw back to those are they are flimsy.

I have some really good deals on K2's if anybody wants one. Just drop me a pm and I'll get you a price.

This Yeti sets on top of the engine all day and keeps ice no problem. One guy explained in the other cooler post that the trick is to get the cooler cold before loading it up. She throws hers in the deep freeze the night before and loads it up the next morning. After wheeling all day I may be able to get a coffee cup of water out of the drain.

I put ice in mine for a week straight with nothing else in it to precool it, mine wont keep a bag of ice for crap, by the end of the second day its all water. Precooling mine doesn't help hardly any. I bought mine for a trip to florida, precooled it before we left, my father in law had a cheepo wally world special with him that keep ice just as good as my yeti and he did not prechill at all. From all the reading ive done on them the little coolers are just not going to keep ice like their bigger ones.

Personally I'm a Yeti guy myself. I don't own a cooler, but I have a hat in each color and stickers on all my vehicles. I love my yeti TShirt with my Costa hat, they go great with styrofoam cooler and Ironman sunglasses!!

I just bought 30 yetis for my salesmen and I have cooked bbq circuits for years and seen yetis take tons of abuse. They are copied for a reason. Not to say the copies are inferior, just saying they copied yeti because they work.

Grizzly supports and works with two KOH winning drivers Shannon Campbell and Erik Miller, these guys use an abuse them. Here's a code for a discount on the Grizzly Coolers website: MM4421

I wanted an Orca bc they have an orange and blue one and since I'm an Auburn fan I thought that was the way to go. I sat a 26 qt Orca beside a 35 qt Yeti and the Orca was much bigger outside but much smaller inside. The Orca didn't seem nearly as well built as the Yeti either. I didn't want a Yeti bc everybody with a RZR has one but I ended up with the Yeti bc it was the right size and I've seen what kind of abuse they can take.
