Saturday Aug. 6. Where's everyone riding?

Alright, this semester is over, work has slowed down for now. Time to ride. Yeah I know it's hot..

Where is everyone riding on August 6 '16? Anyone going to AOP for the race? I am more interested in actually riding myself but I don't mind watching the races some after/before riding.
What about HPO?, Summertown?, Woolys? , Holly Tree?, Hale is closed for the summer. Not really looking to make a cross country trip since the weekend after I will probably be going to Gray Rock and then we have the HL ride at GMP the weekend after.

Off subject here but are you by any chance the same Broady that used to own the Jeep in my avatar? Guy I got it from said he bought it from a guy named Broady from north Alabama..

I've never been. May have to ride down and check it out. The ac is out in my row rig, that's a long haul for me with no AC. 3-4hrs

No way it's 3-4 hrs from Huntsville to chocco is it? I'm an hour east of Atlanta and can make it in 3hrs.

You are right, I stand corrected. GPS shows 2-2.25 depending on the route.
Not sure where I got 3 from. Guess I thought it was closer to Morris Mt. That took me a little over 3.

I'm gonna get there Friday afternoon ride that night and then till after lunch Saturday and head home. Well hopefully I'll get to ride that much, this will be the run to test my transmission rebuilding skills.

You and leaving midday Saturday, not sure I've ever seen you ride til Saturday night.

I told Jesse I'd tow his buggy down if he wanted to head out Saturday morning, still not sure me fatass will fit in the passenger seat of that thing. :rolf:

Trust me I'd love to stay on Saturdays but the wife works 1 day a week and that's on Sunday's. So I gotta be home to take care of the kids.

Cool.. I tried to get hold of him one time just to see if the transmission in my Jeep was bone stock or if he'd had any good parts put in it before. You'll like choco if you go it's a good park.
