im diggin the usage of GTAW (TIG for dummies) for the traction bar brackets. that is an explanation in itself for the attention to detail being put into this rig. definitely

I was checking it out the otherday. definatley going to be a nice rig when done. I think its nickname should be "BLING" :clappy:

i am debating walking outside right now and taking the "bling bling" sticker off of my front windshield, because i am in fact not worthy of such sticker being on my rig

Just thought I'd let you know this is my favorite build on here right now. Keep the pics coming. It looks awsome and I just love those things!!

Lookin good.

So what pain did you use to paint the axle? :haha: :stirpot:

It wasn't too painful, but it is painted with SEM ProMax semi gloss black, the links & tubework are going to be silver, frame is textured black, body will be Speedway Metallic blue and real Oak sides.

Thanks for all the compliments, should be unique when done.

Down to 4 weeks to go to have it in the Those Guys/ Winchline booth at EJS soooo,
Today got the major portion of the front coilover mounts done, front air bumps mounted, steering done minus the orbitall and lines, and started on the rear coilover mounts and rear air bumps. In the last few days the wiring is done, fuel lines are almost done, brake lines are being ran, dash is mocked up, woodwork has been started. Should be built and ready to disassemble in the next week for paint, then reassemble and do woodwork before we leave.

How about some pics of the golf cart or what ever that is in this last pic?

Yep it's a golf cart, pulled the 4hp gas engine out for a 18hp version, 14" travel in the rear with a 5" wider axle, 12" front travel, 6" wider overall, all tig welded a-arms, fox struts, cage, harnesses and probably seats at this point. The customer wants to clear the 6' doubles at his house.

Nice work! The clock is ticking.....

No problem, we have a bit over three weeks :D

The doors at getting the woodwork cut now, the engine, tranny & t-case are now out to be gone through and painted, the suspension is basically done, rig is wired, bodywork on the tub is 90% done. We plan to have the rig ready for disassembly and paint on Tues/Wed, then a week for paint and finish woodwork, which gives us a week for assembly and a week of oh crap time :D
