Quads-dirt bikes hauling ass on the main roads

Watch out. Today there were about 40 quads and dirt bikes at Evans. A young boy, maybe 12 years old was hauling ass and came within a few inches of my bumper on the gravel road. Another quad was doing about 20mph through the campground. Wont be long before there is a vehicle/quad collision up there.

    Rock ledge on the 519

This is the best, most challenging obstacle at Evans. There is an easy bypass trail just above it that is passable in 2wd. There is talk about filling in the v notch with quarry spals like they did to the beginning of the 311. Why would a club want to do this?

People have been breaking the center pins and not knowing it. I have seen the center pins come loose too. This guy broke both sides and is switching to Marlin parts. Trail Gear is using weak steel.

    Back in the day....

This was the last time my junk ran. The Oldsmobile body and 401AMC motor was junk after this weekend at Annies house. The Ford blew its motor about 2 weeks after this pic was taken at the pumkin patch mud bog off HWY 410.
