its not a fuel filter. its a refrigeration liquid line drier. no magnet but it will handle plenty of heat.....not too sure about the velocity of the ps fluid tho, you may find desicant in your pump?:eeek:

I've had a couple sets. both firestone, ont set brand new (awesome), and a few sets used (awesome). I haul @4000 lb camper, and on occasion tow as well...cant imagine life with out bags. I use the two path system in my d-max so i can use them as a level-ing agent as well for my camper. Love...

just don't let the second or third heat cycle be the trip over the pass.....done that before:rolleyes:, don't think it f'ed em up(still runnin @15yrs) but it scared me. got so hot I couldn't touch it. what i think saved me was really good fluids. and immediately changeing fluids after said incident.

you may be able to figure it out with a meter? not too sure but it may be two independant switches for each position? power in then out for each direction? or something, thats the only logical answer i have without checking it. I have a bunch of meters and am over in bothell. I can prolly help...
