I am pretty sure semi's are not aloud to run retreads on the front axle in this state I know of more than one trucking company that runs retreads on there non steer axles.

I would run them for that price. I know on semi's they are not aloud to run retreads on the front, because they do come apart sometimes, so if I did a lot of highway driving I probabley would not run them on my front end. I talked to an old jeeper that said he used to get his tires recapped...

I have a set of 15x10 steel wheels that are 5on5.5 that I might be looking to get rid of if you are interested. They are in good shape and chrome.

I have never personally ran them but I have wheeled with a couple people that run them and what MNboy said is what anybody I have seen run them says.

I would go with something that is cj6 based, atleast use a cj6 tub
