    Thanks for the input guys. I was going to order an EGR delete when I did the tuner and install it at the same time. Im trying to decide on the basic delete kit or the one with the new down pipe. Its crazy how many options there are for the delete kits.....probably since its such a big 6L issue.

    Well I dont need a diesel now but in a couple years when I have toys to tow I will want/need a diesel. Basically ide rather buy to much truck now so I dont have to upgrade later.

    Ive driven plenty of them but for the mileage im looking for there still alittle out of my price range. I like the feel of sitting in the chevy's better thou and if I found one in my price range ide really consider it.

    The one I was looking at sold yesterday:booo: Ive been weighing the pros and cons of getting a 1 ton diesel for a few months now vs a 1/2 ton. I think it will be a better choice in the long run to get a diesel so I dont need to upgrade my truck in a few years.

    What stumps me is I unbolted the lift with the f/r shackles and the dual case set up from a 79' toyotaand bolted it in mine. Blakeski who I got all the parts from didnt have shims in the front but he did have a custom front shaft that was trashed so it was unusable.:eeek:

    You dont need a slide hammer just get 2 bolts you can thread into the hub and use a crappy socket and have someone start the truck and bump the steering wheel and let the truck push the bearing ass. out. Why make it hard on yourself:awesomework:

    Do you have a link to the law for caps on steer axles? From what I understood it was public trans. and buses that cant LEGALLY run caps for steer tires and that LEGALLY semis could run caps but its just a stupid idea since they have a higher chance of coming apart.
