    Emmissions failure

Two things I learned. One my truck fully warmed up the has an Opacity level on three snaps @ 2500 RPM of 12.2%, cold its 35.1%. Guy rolled his eyes as I leisurely took it to the chosen RPM level. It passed on the second run through after a 30 minute hotrod session on the...

Not stock, larger injectors and turbo. Now that you mention this I did not snap consistently. I will have to do a better job of that. Is there an RPM that is best to snap to?

    Emmissions failure

My 02 Dodge failed the snap test this weekend. I didn't drive it more than the 20 minutes to the test location. Before I run it down to a shop and spend money to get it to pass, thought I would hit the internet for suggestions. Never had an issue with the testing before, truck has been sitting...

2002 24v Dodge Ram 3500 Hard Brake pedal

It is always hard, as soon as it is torched off. Steering is a bit tight. I noticed the pump area is has a bit of fluid this morning. Suppose that is good place to start. Also ABS light comes on and off.

2002 24v Dodge Ram 3500 Hard Brake pedal

The Pedal is hard all the time. I believe it may be the hydro boost, power steering pump, a hose issue(blockage?) or a combination of. Funds are tight so I a going to dig into this myself, any experiences with these issues/fixes will help a great deal. I know with all the dodges running...

    Adjustable drop hitches

I run the rapid hitch in the 10" flavor, my only complaint is the slop. take the ball off and it maks for a good car stop when people forget to "hit the brakes".

How do you buggy guys keep all the crap off of you?

I will add to what others have said about layers of clothing. Bring extras, you never know when you are going to spring a leak(read:tear an outer layer.) :)

    Tow Rig Tires

They make plenty of spacers out there just for this. I appreciate the offer though. "egg sack lee" As they heat up I imagine premature wear of the side walls causing possible failure (blow out maybe). I am going to toss 1/4" or 1/2" spacers in there. If it still too close, 1 1/2" will...

    Tow Rig Tires

Alright, I went with the duratracs. So far so good, its only been a few days but the ride nice. My only complaint thus far is the fact that on a dually I will need to add some spacers to eliminate any buldge issues when loaded heavy...265 75 16 e Yes I read what the wide was, however I didn't...
