:eeek: In your second post you said you were planning on spending 2300-2700 for just a lift. You can get a complete wheelable lifted XJ for less than that. So yes, you do have money for two rigs :fawkdancesmiley::haha:

Better idea: Leave WJ stock or at most a budget boost with slightly larger tires. Take WJ lift funds and buy an XJ already lifted/geared/tired for wheeling. Beat on the wheeler and still always get to work Monday morning. There is no good reason to wheel a WJ.

Another vote for Beck's up in Edgewood/Milton. Same as Mac's but local :cool: As for straps coming loose, yeah... most likely not used correctly. Gotta have at least a few wraps around the drum to clamp on itself, and have to use straps made with the correct material.

Already did. They wanted $60 plus s&h, and plus whatever a new female plug would cost. I was just hoping this would be a cheaper fix. I think I may have found a different problem though. Sure enough none of the coils on the solenoids were grounded (I'm assuming they have to be like normal...

I was gonna say this same thing. Rock auto has them way cheaper than anywhere else I found. I think mine was about $250 or so from there.
