got it fixed and motor'd along until we couldn't find the trail anymore. loggers had completely blocked the trail with logs stacked perpendicular across the thing. :mad:

for the price of V2R (which I'm not even sure is a qualifier this year) you could prolly do the American Rocksports Challenge (SLC, UT), Stampede (Reno, NV), and the Grand Prix @ Glen Hellen (Socal). :laughing:
plan is to leave the bremerton/tacoma area sometime early evening of the 4th...which puts me on the lakebed around dark on saturday the 5th. start the drive back up on sunday the 13th (i'm single so dont mind missing the 14th)
gonna be helping to run tech inspection all week for the race, then...
just like i thought...the retainer spring was garbage. bought new ones and i'm buying a rebuild kit for the ones i got. bench testing on the new ones say they'll work...we'll see what happens when I get out there tomorrow.
