    My AX10

Yeah, I have the Rooster Crawler too and have been thinking about going to a Lipo setup. I've been running a 6 cell 2/3A setup on the front axle.

    comp tuber build "The Mutt"

I'm diggin' the Easton shafts man :awesomework: I might be able to get you some scrap aluminum or possibly some stainless steel sheet from work for panels. I'll go by the metal shop and see what they're working on this week.

    Inboarded body posts

LOL, I just noticed the dog hair on the shocks in the last 2 pics. I was "stacking rocks" in the living room and used the dog's bed to crawl onto the couch :D

    Inboarded body posts

So I was sitting around watching the NCAA games and was kind of bored so I decided to take apart the diffs on my Axial. I cleaned them up and checked the lockers since I've heard about quite a few of them wearing out. Everything looked good so I greased it up and put it all back together...

    Common AX10 Mods

I put Losi Rock Claws on mine when I built it, the stock tires are still in the box. Along with a little weight in the wheels. Most people say around 3-4oz front and 1oz rear. I have about 6oz front and 2oz rear and it works good for me. Softer springs make a big difference. Either the...

    Painted a new Rockstar body

So after changing my shock setup I was rubbing my body a lot with the lower ride height. I had the Losi Grappler body, which is pretty small, and I had trimmed it a lot, but it still was hitting the tires quite a bit. So yesterday I was in the hobby shop and decided to pick up one of the new...

    Where?

Online I order most stuff from The Crawler Store http://www.tcscrawlers.com/ Locally I get my stuff from Kitsap Sports in Silverdale. They are a huge sporting goods store with a decent selection of RC stuff. Jeremy, the General Manager, is one of my good friends and is a big RC nut...

Changed up my Axail a bit

So I had tested the prototype delrin tranny skid from The Crawler Store. I liked it but had made a few suggestions for the final product. Well they ended up doing what I had suggested, probably had nothing to do with what I said, they were common sense things. So I got one of the production...

    Gonna give it a try!

Nice, those should work out well for you. I'm still running the stock ones, I haven't broke one yet. I even did a custom High Steer setup on mine. It works pretty good and moved the steering linkage up about 1/4". I'll see if I have some pics of it. It's kind of ghetto, I used some heavy...

yeah, no kidding. It never ends, just like my Jeep... Looks like you need some aluminum knuckles :awesomework: http://www.tcscrawlers.com/By-Truck-Axial-AX10-Scorpion-p-4-c-254.html

    My new body...

When I first read what body you put on I thought, oh my god that's gonna look stupid. But after seeing it, it's not so bad. It's kinda like a really low profile bug body. The only thing I would change is to trim the rear a little more.

    What cells you running?

I run a 2/3A setup, but I'm only using a 6 cell pack. I just happen to have some pics of mine measured after I built them. This is how they were originally mounted... This is how they sit now...

Entry Level + Low Price = Pure Goodness

I agree, if you don't build it yourself it's going to take you a while to figure it out how to work on it. I only spent about $500 getting totally setup, but I've seen other people do it for less and still work great.
