350 turbo kick down cable

hey guys what does a person need to do if they plan on runing a 350 turbo trans that has the cable for the kick down just cut it off seal it up or does a person need to take to a trans shop and have any thing done to my knowlage and that ant much all it is is a passing gear kick down right changes presuer in the trans to drop down a gear to pass then it up shifts back is this some thing person needs to run in the woods or can it be done away with

Before going to a manual VB I left my kick down in the bracket on the side of the TB but never hooked it up. Only thing out does for the 350 is like you side drop from 3-2 to pass. I just drop the gear manually.

Remove the cable and install freeze plug . Been in there since 07 no problems.
