That sucks man. I'd try mounting that tire again with LOTS of GOOD lube and then gluing the beads to salvage that tire for now while you save up for new stuff. I'd also NEVER look for new stuff. When you can save 50% or so with barely used stuff why not? :;

I'd love to be able to find some "barely used" stuff... Problem is finding what I want....

We worked on that tire for a good 45 minutes on that machine... Ripped the bead pretty good... So both sides of the beads are ripped... Doubt this one is going to hold any air...

I'll figure something out to wheel with in the meantime.. Plus try and figure out what direction I want to go with the tires.. I really dont want to get the same tire and wheel for that money... I'd rather upgrade..

You should have never dismounted the tires. Just knocked off the back bead and clean them up and bring them over.

Now that they are all dismounted I would just get the proper rims and sell those other ones.

I didn't dismount all of them... Just the one that had the torn inner bead.. I was going to flip the tire and put the torn bead on the bead lock side... Now both beads are ****ed... Atleast on this tire.

I'll figure something out. I really want to go bigger and have a double lock on here. I'm sick of worrying about inner beads.. I kick myself in the ass daily for thinking I needed 2" backspace wheels..:mad:

Maybe I'll find something at the swapmeet this year...

Well a little update on the truck. Sold my old beadlocks to a CL'er a few weeks ago and they funded most of the "new" tire and wheel purchase. I still have my Iroks and will most likely try and get them repaired and have as a set of spares or sell.

I ended up picking up the set of 38x12.5x16.5 TSL's and H1's from porter.

Hopefully in the next month or so I will be able to get myself some Pressed Centers from Mad Mac and be back on the trail.:beer:

Since I have some down time waiting for the money to be able to buy my new centers for the H1's I've torn into the front end again!

Decided to go ahead and do my 5th stud. Got most of the plate cut today and some of the holes drilled.. Not done with it as I still need to drill the knuckles, I'll work on that sometime this week. Hope I have time.

Also trying to figure out if I am going to lower the truck while I'm at it. I have the frame set at 25" right now and really like the stance.

Here is a mock-up of it with the 38's

Well I have have one wheel/tire completely done. The other wheels are all ground down and are ready to be welded up. Need to pick up a few more valve stems before I can put them together.

It's been 16 days now, any updates?

Haha! I haven't had any time/money to work on it recently. I did however make some time last sunday and weld the remainder of the wheels up. Just need to install them on the tires and see if they hold air. Only downside to the H1's is that damn O-ring! Hoping to get off at a decent time tonight to get the last two together.

Chop Chop Fawker! It's a 3 day breakage fest this weekend.:awesomework:

What Chad said. get it loaded up so sunday we can go up and peel that shiny new fender off :redneck: we are gonna roll up there about 9:30 or so. depending on how it goes we might make an afternoon run after we leave Elbe at your favorite wheelin spot. I have a set of jumpers onboard these days too :;

I have some serious death wobble going on. Reset my toe in, it was off a bit. But its still there, so I fawked those centers welding them! Usually happens when I build ****. DAMNIT! Hopefully when I drop the air pressure some will be taken up by the tires. Was testing all of it at 35 PSI.

I had a wicked case of death wobble on ironically a set of 38" tsl's. If I ran them over about 15 psi I got wicked wobble anything below that it was fine. It had nothing to do with the wheels. Tried everything under the sun to fix it and in the end I sold the tires. One goofy thing was they were fine on my other truck, my buddies truck and on the truck they were put on when I sold them. Good luck.

Well I had some rubbing issues so I took care of that today.

Trimmed about 2 inches out of the rear.

Also redid my front shock hoops. I half assed them the first time I welded them on, so now they are on there straight and welded well. Threw on one of my rock sliders. Hoping to get back out in the garage in a bit to get the other one back on.
