Time to get some shocks mounted!

Number 2 done, only 10 hrs on this one. 30 total, from first cut to completion. Not counting heims or labor, less than $75 in materials...save some cha- ching over buying kit. Just loss of time. [emoji481]

Plus I choose the motion ratio ;)

I don't know what I'm more impressed by, the fab work, the design, the rate of completion or the fact your also keeping up with several build threads.......nice work all around and thanks for keeping us updated and for the detailed job of posting.

Thanks stano, I'm enjoying the build, glad you guys are too.

How does 22"of vertical wheel travel (unstrapped) sound?

That travel is obviously photoshopped. I can see the paint squiggles. Just like the thick chick thread.

Hows your driveshaft gonna feel about it?
That will be the tale of the tape. 34.25 long at ride height, haven't done the drop and squat measurements yet. I'm sure the droop will get strapped around 20", which will net 9 up and 11 down.

Matt

3.625" of driveshaft slip, 9° of driveshaft change from droop to bump, always aiming at the t case output; matching angle at ride height.

Giggity, giggity....

Yep, looks too good to be real......I knew it. Seriously tho, if I drop off my heep, some steaks and a case of beer, how far will that get me? :)

Well, we'll drink the beer, cook the steaks, and break out some graph paper to figure out your plan!

All shocks are mocked in now. Haven't cycled the front yet. Was able to get the front shocks under the hood! Lowers on front will probably be wiggled a bit to make room for the bumps. It's tight at the axle up front with 40° of steering.

Also some spy shots at ride height with pvc spacers on the shock shafts.

M CUTLER in my opinion is probably the most talented person that frequents HL. He does it all and super fast.
Damn, thanks K. That means a lot. I appreciate all the hardline community, and hope to meet more of you in the next season.

Amazing work! This build has it all, awesome fab, kick ass suspension, having the body on it makes it really look good vs having it doved front and rear or somewhat firewalled. Wonder how it will do hitting stuff at speed, thinking about a similar rear suspension setup on a future build.

Re:

Don't forget your JEGS, NRA, and BASSMASTERS stickers in that back glass. Even with all that badass fab work, it's still supposed to be a 90s throwback Manche!
