Even though I never in a million years would be as good a Fabricator as you, this is still a huge inspiration, and there's definitely a lot to be learned from your skills, out of curiosity, how many miles of weld do you think there is on this thing so far? Must be more than one would imagine

You have me curious now on how much weld....hard to say in inches of weld...but I bet we can figure how many feet of wire. Let me study, thanks!

Well after a week or more of strept, ear infections, steroids-seriously affecting my sleep, antibiotics, and the flu....and that's just me (Mattix my 4 yr old has been down as well) ....I finally scratched up enough energy to get the passenger side bump done!

Now all the heavy fab is done...whew...

Things should progress at a quicker pace to the finish line now!

Who wants to contract the 90's throwback twin sister? Another eliminator ready for a Cutler Fab transformation!

Re:

What kind of financing plans do you offer?

Or do you offer weekend long fabrication classes?

Shoot, better keep that one for spares!
That's the original plan, but I've had some interest. This body is actually straighter than the first.

Welcome anyone to come hang out for a shop day!

Front clip workout. Header support attached, inner fenders trimmed back, progress on radiator mount.

I really need to swing by and check this thing out next time we are at the farm in Claudville. Between you and Scoche's 3.8SC project, y'all aren't helping my want of a Manche.

Yep, just a few more miles to me...your welcome anytime.

Wicked fab skills man, the build looks amazing! .... I'm guessing the "Cutler" in your username is your last name, my last name is also Cutler. You're only the 2nd one I've ever seen outside of my known family. What area is your family from? Most of mine is either in Houston, TX or Grapeland, TX.

Thanks, I appreciate it!

Yep. My father and I were born in upstate New York (Utica). I haven't been back there but once since I was a few weeks old. We actually lived in Denton TX, back '82-86. Been here in Mayberry the rest of my life. There are many cutlers up north. Very few in the south.

I might have missed it earlier in the thread, but how will the motor, trans and case be removed in the future?
Everything comes out the bottom. I'll use this stand to set and roll away.

Front clip is finished. Fenders tabbed, header panel done, front bumper done- with race ready push bar and ends capped. Once I get the radiator shrouded, I can pull the front body parts back off to finish all the under hood items...but I had to bolt the grill back together just for a satisfying piktuure!

-I'm not sold on the push bar yet, it will do it's job; push, protect the grill and a little bit of help in a roll over. Fortunately it's a disposable item, and can be changed in an afternoon if I get tired of looking at it. It does have a matching roll to the body. Plus the heims are spares for the steering...

The clear forward marker lights must be modified; the tire will eat them up on the back. I will make a false back and put a couple led lamps behind the lens.

Forgot, and the radiator is mounted...mudpro light bar tabs on the flexalite extruded tank sides, works fantastic.

And a shot of the bumper from profile; you can better see the distance it covers.
