90's throw back....Manche build

Got started on the bridge...

Ran out of p&o, so this bottom piece has the mill scale.

Used the 2x3 to keep the piece straight.

...and before I attach this permanently, will be making the reservoir bracket.

Real nice, Clark! Reckon it'll weigh slightly more than an Ultra4 buggy?
I'm shooting for 4400lb race trim...due to using 1.75 dom....Probably should have used 2". According to koh rules, that means mst drive across the scales- (read as little fuel as possible)

Just a pipe dream to race once, may never happen, but trying to build accordingly.

Weight will be very close...I have weighed it recently but won't share just yet... 8)

My guess trail ready, no passengers, 4800.

Matt

Edit- may weigh it this weekend again just to see where I'm at...

Bridge is done, aside from some tabs and lite overlay once all the accessories that will be attached to it find their home.

This is frikn rediculous. I feel like I can "make" some stuff but you are on another level.
Makes me want to throw my tools away haha.
Nice work...

I really appreciate it guys. That's why I like doing build threads and watching others myself. I get inspired and learn as well.

Fuel cell tray is done.

Digging the Goatbuilt cell, can, and fast fill plate for factory gm internal fuel pump.

Everything fits like a glove!

What all have you purchased from Goatbuilt? I'm sure you've mentioned in all in the thread already, but just curious.

Yea the tank is pretty damn tight, wasn't much room for error. Thanks.

Of course the subframe and skids, engine mount crossmember and skid, cell, can, fill plate, ram mount, and tank straps.

Drew makes some very nice products, with stout design.

Thanks!

Both bumps are done minus the top cap and a thru tube between the vertical plates.

Love it. Late to the party, but what's the clearance with the fuel cell on the rear driveline from rear output to pinion? Looks tight at stuff. 99% of the reason I dig U4 cars is packaging, and your rig has it. drool
