Air shocks

I bought a set fox 2.0's and I'm wondering what the best way is to set them up? would it be better to have up travel or down? I know this is all going to depend on where you wheel and suspension ect ect but just wanted some personal experience with them. There my first set! haha. I'm also going to buy a set of air bumps when I get some more money.

I've got a set of 14" thats on the back of mine with only 4 to 5 inches of shaft showing...def downtravel
