02 powerstroke with 100K. OEM still going strong. It sees tow duty about once a month, and sits in the drive way the rest of the time.

I will be shopping at autozone when it is time.

FWIW....I purchased a new battery for the Roach ('93 CTD) from Interstate and I bought it as a "Cometic BLEM". IIRC it was 75% off for a GNARLY battery with around 1500 CCA and it turned the CTD over like a MOFO.

my 99 CTD is still on the factory batteries and seems to be good (knock on wood) truck is still under 25k total though

Every 2 to 3 years it seams

But snow plowing and all of the vibration is hard on them
