BTF fusion finish up

I'm just glad you finally have your own buggy after all these years. Hope you dont flip it out ASAP

This. We need to get together in Clayton with Nasty and A Peters.

Never been much of a fan of these chassis' but this one turned out great. Nice work. PS...keep the :afro: hood tie down. Hood pins are for race cars. thumb.gif

My favorite feature is the ratchet strap hood tiedown. Really stepping it down from vice grips, I'm kinda let down how far you've slipped Kelly.

With grips at like $11 each, it is going to be cheaper to hood pin this one laughing1 :flipoff1: Some stuff like that needs to happen, like it needs all the motor mount bolts put in, you know, details laughing1

Jabnasty took off today, pulled the shafts out of his buggy and is sending them to me to put in this thing. Some trade deal with Hiper wheels and whatnot I bought for his rzr. laughing1
I'll get 'er shafted one way or another. Taking it to BMR in a week, its time to actually nut and bolt the thing and weld some stuff that is only high level tacked, like the motor mounts

Clayton...nuff said
I dont think Kellys been in Clayton since that Night Heatwave run a few years back. I think we ran everytrail in 8 hours minus the three backside Plucked, Redneck millionare area. Great idea, Kelly lets do that again this time in your buggy.

The black hood with AL skins didn't look bad to me at all, now my buddy grant witha body shop took them, was going to go nuts on the color, hates the look of raw AL, so he got going on it. The hood had too many dings, he didn't want to push them all, so he went all white on everything :dunno: I hope it doens't look like ****.

Paint looks good, now I'm wrapping up loose ends and trying to make a hood pin mount/shock tower crossmember. I hope to have a stereo in it for this trip too, how crazy would that be for me laughing1

this thing does WORK. ended up thowing a huge rock out adn caving an ORI shaft in the first night somewhere drunk in the woods. next day, the KP bearing was gone, all the needles were in the woods somewhere and and shaft/joint were rubbing all over the knuckle area. I had a guy bring a new kit down and I put it in, bu tmissed the noon on viagra antics. Later, I went back there and hit every line on the whole hill, then made a new steeper spot. buggy does work. If anyone is friends with me on fb, that is where they are all posted. I was impressed by how easy it launches up about anything. Having the uptravel is nice too. I am able to take the 8" ish ledges at full speed. That got me in trouble later at night, I caught one at about 50 and bent an allied monster into the caliper, it bound adn broke the stub then cleaned off and sliced on a new tire a bit. i think I can plug it and go.
All around good time, and I couldn't be happier with the performance.
If I can find out how to link a fb vid over I will. As with any vid it is very uneventful, but if you've seen the obstacle or pulled up on it, you'll get the idea.

I saw those vids earlier today. buggy looks like it works well, soaks up the hits and doesnt buck around when you are on the throttle. nice job bro! :woot: :woot: :driving: :dblthumb:
