Buggy build "Indecision"

Help Support Hardline Crawlers:

So what's all the hook ups on that panel? Gang ground, power in, hot to starter, and a hot to each accessory?

I don't really work in the garage much on the weekends. If I did I'd rename it the divorce buggy.

Nice school project. I still think it's weird how much it reduces going into the slip.

X2, I know that you know what your doing but that small part of the shafts would worry me???????????

The 4 inch 1/4 wall DOM tube makes it look little but it's not that small and its solid. It's not a huge hurdle but it's progress. Waiting on the front carrier bearing mount and driveline tube of 7" long and the driveline will be complete. Rear wiring is ran but not done.

What's the amperage rating for the switches in that panel? I looked on Summit's site but I didn't see it.

Lol. That's at my shop at work. I think only the blue ones are good. The rest are junk. That seems to be the way optima is going these days. So none of those are mine. I build my drive lines at work since I have a large there to be able to true them up on.

you too??!?!

I have a pile of those ******** batteries on the floor of my shop too. I couldn't get one to last more than a year or so.

Finally bought a nicer battery and havent had issues ever since. I have even winched the thing dead twice now and it just charges back up and keeps on truckin

What sucks about the optima is I can't recharge them if they go dead. I have tried the charging one battery while tieing the optima parallel to the one being charged. It doesn't work. This last one lasted nearly a year. Autozone has warrantied them 4 times though.

They don't like being charged past about 2 amps. It can kill em by charging them with any more juice.

Been attempting to get some **** done this week since I'm off. It's been a struggle but I'm getting some done. Driveline is done!! So glad it's done.

This was as high as I could go without hitting the garage door. I need to do a few more things before she is ready to come out for the real fork test.

Was Mike helping or just stopped by?

No he's been playing musical vehicles since we got back from the hardline ride. Came and got the sploder and left his Nissan then came and got the Nissan and left the f250. His parking bill is gonna be outrageous. Lol.

By my count, end of June will be 1 year since you've had the chasis. I'd say it's moving along pretty good.
