bump stops

I been wondering i have seen it in ine buggy before but can you run bump stops to carry most of the weight instead of your shocks i know your shocks will stiil carry some the load but can you run setting on your stops

Bumps on my buggy and a few others I've worked on ride just touching or a tad of clearance but hold no weight, others run theirs with more clearance between them wich is really just a packaging issue and how much uptravel you want but I don't know of anyone using them to hold weight.., its not their intent or design

An airbump is just a short air shock. It will work ok carrying weight...

why would you want to ride on your bump stops all the time? uptravel is your friend, if you want a smooth ride!

I was just being curious i am kinda new at the four link and coil overs and gas shocks i have always ran leaf springs i was just curious if they would i figured they was just for up travel limits and all like i said i was just wondering
