Cage work I'm finishing up for the wife's little TJ. yeah I know some of the welds look like bubbble gum. Don't buy chicago electric flux core wire! :****: Upgrade to gas coming soon.

This is the first big project with the new bender.

Thank you.

I forgot to mention the wife's requirement is to have the top fully functional like OEM and it is along with the speaker bar similar to factory.....

What Bender are you using? I want to get a decent but cheap one for a project later.

Looks good! What trim was used where you went through the dash?

Thanks! It's door edge trim. I picked it up at one of the Auto Stores a while ago when I trimmed my XJ fenders. I'm sure they all carry it. It's a pliable plastic with adhesive in it to hold it on. Tight circles like this are not a problem for staying on though of course.

how many deg can you bend without resetting the ram/pin?

I'll have to measure the exact degree for ya. I haven't tried it past 90 degrees yet. I"m not sure how much more throw the ram a has.

The bender I made for building my project with can only bend 65 degrees at a time so I try to design using angles of less than that to keep me from having to reset... LOL I can bend 180 but I have to move the pin 2x to get it done. I wish it would go 90 without moving the pin though.
