• Help Support Hardline Crawlers :

Finally....Da new rig..

I got the knuckles cleaned and bore and tubes polished up. When I cut them off I also had to cut the inner link mount off that I just put on but was able to retain the outer.

Got the pinion set to desired angle and got the knuckles back on and set to 8 degrees to accommodate for the axle swing when its moved to ride height. I just tacked them into place for and will burn them in when it comes back out to get the new steering setup.

After effect of the pinion change--ugh. Talked to matt and going to drop the links off and he's going to fix them up.

Great choice on the radiator, looking good Mike. I absolutely cannot wait to see that thing on its lid.:fawkdancesmiley:

Bla---don't drive like an ass you won't end up on your lid :fawkdancesmiley::fawkdancesmiley::fawkdancesmiley:

Your not doing buggy things with your buggy friends if your not on your lid :redneck:

The last few day I have been working hard at trying to get the radiator mounts done. Before I could get the motor/trans mounted up I needed some cross support on the chassis and that required getting the radiator done.

Nice work as always... Not sure if I'd have done the radiator so close to the engine. Seems that if you'd have given yourself an extra couple inches, would be easier to do maintenance, little extra room for that PS pump you still need to find a home for, and, perhaps even mount that AC compressor that belongs on that bracket (for inflating tires, whatever).

Its tight but there should be room for them goodies :awesomework:

Most rigs of this style are pretty tight though--kinda one of the downfalls of it and why you really need to pay attention to details..

Good size Radiator, shouldn't overheat in even the hottest desert days. Coming together Mike, your going more forward then backwards.:awesomework:
