I was trying to count how many stupid comments the news guys came up with while trying to describe what was happening...... I ran out of appendages..
 
damn.......... just upgraded to an 8.9... 30 foot tsunami is doing some pretty good damage...

Been watching it on the news for a while. Just found out a good friend in Tokyo is ok :cheer: Anyone know where Comet is these days and if he's ok:eeek:
 
Hopefully Mrs. Crash has been in touch with Comet. If it is like it was here after the last earthquake there may be no cell service, telephone, electricity, internet working.
 
After looking at some of the vids out there...there will be many thousands dead and wide streaches of lowlands wiped out.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all those suffering the loss of loved ones and the loss of their homes, jobs etc.

A sad day indeed.:booo:

Mark should be in south Carolina but not sure about his wife if she had left japan.
 
just got news a buddie of mine who is stationed in japan was on leave for the week and is mia at the moment. hoping its just that he has not been able to report in at this time but that is a nasty scene over there right now.
 
According to what I read in the write-up, the trauma toll isn't nearly as bad as it has been in earlier quakes.
I didn't see much on the damages total.
 
Its 2 in the morning there. They really have no idea yet as to what the death tolls will be or even the extint of the damage. :booo: Just watching whats available I would think there will be hundreds if not thousands of people lost :booo:

But it was like 3 in the afternoon when it hit.
 
I just heard on the radio that they had another large quake in a different area.

Rough week over there.
 
Has anyone seen that huge wirlpool, now that was crazy.

The ironic part is that mother earth took out the prius and nissan leaf plants, doesn't she know they were trying to save her. :eeek:
