After looking at some of the vids out there...there will be many thousands dead and wide streaches of lowlands wiped out.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all those suffering the loss of loved ones and the loss of their homes, jobs etc.

just got news a buddie of mine who is stationed in japan was on leave for the week and is mia at the moment. hoping its just that he has not been able to report in at this time but that is a nasty scene over there right now.

According to what I read in the write-up, the trauma toll isn't nearly as bad as it has been in earlier quakes.
I didn't see much on the damages total.
