I'm going to modify a foam dirt bike filter on my Ranger. They filter dusty air better, and are really easy to clean That being said, I use K&N filters and won't go back.

And if your vehicle has a mass air flow sensor, leave the filter alone. Unless you like to spend good money on new sensors.
