Mobile Home Roofing

I have a 16x80 single wide mobile home. Everytime the wind blows it sounds like the roof is about to come off. I got up to look at it today and it appears all the metal is loose as hell. My first mobile home, so what is the problem? Shouldn't the roof be tight down on the trailer? Do all of these things do that? I have a video of someone would like for me to send it to show what I mean.

Maybe that's the reason I see tires on top of some of them?

I find a bald 215/75-16 load range E works the best.

Gotta have new tires on the dually at some point this year. So that will be six, maybe I can stop the noise on one side.

When I lived in a single wide I had a neighbor that had exact same problem, the roof has wooden rafters like a house but much smaller , instead of 2x4 they used like a 1.5x1.5 odd ball stuff, so basically he got those metal screws for pole barns that have the rubber washer on em and he screwed the tin down to rafters and put a dab of silicone on every bolt for extra seal, time consuming but it worked good

I always wanted to buy property with an old barn on it, make the barn sturdy, and put a single wide in it.

Yes that is why you see the tars on trailer roofs
