Napa 80w90 Hydraulic fluid?

Any one know if there is a reason I can't run this http://www.napaonline.com/Search/Detail.aspx?R=FHQ65205_0006545685# stuff in my truck?Its only 45 bucks for 5 gallons and its api gl-1.

I assume you mean gear oil? What rating is the oil in there is supposed to have?

GL1 is the spec for like Model T

Its a toyota solid axle. I should have read up on it first before posting what I learned is the gl-1 is mostly for straight cut gears and wont really work in my application.

Just get the Napa GL-5.

I use "zero grease"

I tried searchin for that zero grease couldn't find anything. I decided I need to stop being a cheap ass and get some decent stuff. It would cost alot more to screw up a arb.
