I stopped in the hobby shop off 72nd st in Tacoma and they have the Axial AX10 for $269 is that a good deal? They had I believe three. If anybody wants to know the shop is in the same complex as Olive Garden and the Red-Wing boot store.

NO the AX-10 kit comes with no electronics at all.
You'll need to get a Transmitter and receiver (TX/RX) Servo, ESC (electronic Speed Control) and motor w/ pinion.

A good range for the minimum cost on the listed.
TX/RX around $20-45 (tq3's can be found on ebay for around $30)
ESC - $30 = a good cheap esc called the moped works great for beginners.
Servo- $20 = Tower Pro 945. it's a good high torque servo
Motor- $20
Pinion - $10

If you wanted truely great products it'd easily cost you another $200+/-.

$235.99 At hobby town by the mall in Everett.

I found this out after I payed $259.99 at galaxy in Lynnwood.

I looked around the internet for the best price and by the time you pay shipping the cheapest I found was $250.00 and most internet site where out of stock.

Last week Tacoma RC Raceway had one on the wall for $239. If it's gone, talk to Scott and he'll order you another.

Cheapest online price I've seen is like $226 or something from RPP Hobby, but I just looked and couldn't find them on the site, so maybe they are sold out.
