NP205 front dig mod

I know i have asked before and i know it has been covered before and i know i have done this before....That being said...:redneck:

Is modifying the shift rail on a ford np205 (drivers drop) the same as the chevy np205(pass. drop) ?

I can't remember if it was the inside rail (closest to centerline of drivetrain) or outside rail (closest to front output) that got modded.:eeek: Same specific dimension as stated in earlier posts also?:eeek:

IIRC it's both rails that get moded and yes the ford case is the same internals (with differences unrelated to this mod)just drivers drop.

...cus i only modded one rail last time i did it on the chevy case....i thought you only modded one rail...:eeek:

I did mine many years ago. I'm not sure, it just seems to me it was both...

It is just one rail, the one towards the center. It's modified in two places..
Do a search on pirate.

it is the rear output rail that gest modded in two places...
