Anybody have any pictures/ideas for some kind of recovery point on the front of an OBS Ford? I'm not down with wrapping straps around the axle for recovery. Doing a little research shows me that none of them came from the factory with front hooks, and it's generally the consensus that a front receiver is the best because the front horns on the frame are generally weak. But I don't want to buy or install a front receiver. My plan is to fab something up and then weld in a reinforcement between the front horns for good measure. What have you done?

There are a few guys that have fabbed together hooks that come out of the bumper holes and looke really good...I'd try something like that if I didn't have the bumper.

Gonna be doin' the same to mine here soon as well...but I am installing a winch/winch bumper combo I've had on other pickups...I've had this bumper for over 15 yrs, on 3 different trucks!!:redneck:
I know you aren't into them, but I put this on mine. Cheapest, easiest option I found.
