Old school video games

Re:

Halo did that after Reach or maybe it was Halo 4. Bungie made them all until that point.

I'm the same with ps4, thats what I played COD on - PS4. So new game and new controller, I was all ****ered up lol

I bought Dead Island 1&2 and loved it. Takes fawking foooorrreeeevvvveeeerrrr to beat, and I think that's what I really like about the Assassin's Creed, Borderlands, Fallout and GTA games. If I'm really into a story, it's like an interactive tv show or movie to me, and it's not something I want to be able to beat in 3 hours and have to play online for a year til the next one comes out. To each his own, I guess. That's just what tickles my pickle.

I have the original NES hooked up in the living room now. My favorite games are:

In no particular order:
SuperC (Contra)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Arcade Edition
Megaman 4
RC Pro Am
Karnov
Excitebike
Mario Brothers 3
Double Dragon 2
Tecmo Bowl (With Walter Payton and the bears)
Tetris

I have about 80-90 games and love it. I had a dumb goal about collecting every NES game ever made, then i printed out the list. **** me thats a lot of games. If im ever at a garage sale or something and i see some, ill pick them up.

Re:

Holy **** man, I forgot all about RC Pro Am! That and Excite Bike was the best NES **** ever!

Had to youtube some RC Pro Am for nostalgic purposes, what a throwback!

Re:

My bro in law has this thing called a Raspberry Pie. It's a small computer board console thing that works with either wired xbox remotes or wireless PS4 remotes, and hooks to tv via hdmi cable. Anyways, somehow you can download games on it and it's relatively inexpensive. You can cycle through many console catagories, Atari, NES, SNES, Sega, N64, I think Playstation 1, etc. The one he has is loaded with games, like 20-50 games for each console. It's pretty cool, I just dont game enough on anything other than Halo to fool with buying one for myself. When they come over to visit, he always brings it and we take turns playing old games. Pretty cool little device.

Re:

Cool! Only problem I ever saw with his was the MegaMan X game for SNES on his, it would randomly glitch midgame and restart the game losing all progress. But none of the other games done it, and we played several of them.
